What does a typical party look like?
Starting right on time, we will jump into games and crafts followed by cake, snacks, and gifts (2-hours total). Please know that we can modify the 2-hour time allotment depending on your needs. For example, you could schedule 1.5 hours for activities and half-an-hour for cake/gifts, etc.
Important Notes: We ask that you do not arrive more than 15-minutes ahead of time so that we have time to clean up the previous party and prepare for yours. All parties must end on time to allow our staff time to clean up and prepare for the next party. Thank you for your support and consideration.
Do You do group events such as team parties, end-of-year parties, Office Kid's PArties?
We would be happy to help celebrate your team's accomplishments, the end of another school year, or celebrate with your office families. We have half a school-sized gym, a field, a playground, and lots of indoor rooms and spaces to accommodate your party size. We can also come to you! (restrictions apply). *Please note: Additional fees may apply depending on the size of your group.
Can I book a party on the weekday or at a time that best suits me?
Unfortunately, we cannot offer parties during the week as we run our regular Club programming. We can only schedule parties within the following timeframes 10-12 PM, 1-3 PM, and 4-6 PM. Thank you for your understanding.
What if I want my party to be longer than 2-hours?
If you would like to extend the length of your party, you may purchase the following 2-hour time slot (if available). For example, if you book a themed party for 15-children from 1-3 PM for $225, you can book the following time slot, 4-6 PM, for an additional $225 to increase the length of your party to 5-hours (total $450).
How many days in advance do I need to book a party?
We require a minimum of 14-days-notice to ensure there is enough time to plan and prepare for your party. However, we will do our best to accommodate requests that are short notice.
Do you have a cancellation or refund policy?
Yes. We spend time preparing for your party in advance and party spots are limited, so please make sure you're committed before you book. If you have to cancel for an unforeseen reason, the following refund schedule will apply:
0-7 days written notice - No refund
8-14 days written notice - No refund on 50% deposit
14-30+ days written notice - $50 cancellation fee
To cancel, please email the Party Place Leader at firstname.lastname@example.org. Your date of cancellation will be from the day we receive your email.
How do I know if I'm eligible for the 50% low-income family discount?
Email Niki, our Party Place Leader at email@example.com. We'll ask you some questions about your personal and financial situation and may request proof of income. We have 2-3 party spaces available per month for discounted parties, so please contact us as soon as possible to leave time to secure a spot.
Parents at the party?
Parents of the birthday child must remain present for the entire party. Other parents may stay if they'd like (We recommend that 3-4 parents are present for parties over 15 children)
Please Note: If your child requires specific support with managing behaviours regardless of age, we ask that you remain at the party to help us ensure they have a great time.
What is included with each theme party?
Each party theme includes a craft and game that is modified for age and skill level: (1) 3 to 6-years, (2) 7 to 9-years, and (3) 10 to 13-years. See Party Packages and Pricing for more details.
What kind of equipment and space do you have?
We have half a school-sized gym, a computer lab, a field, a playground, kitchens, and lots of indoor rooms and spaces to accommodate your party size and age. We have tables, chairs, supplies, toys, crafts, sports equipment, and more. Call our Party Place Leader for more details at 250-554-5437.
Do you supply food?
Unfortunately, we do not supply food at this time. However, you're welcome to bring your own food. We hope to offer party food options in the future. If you require the use of a stove or oven, please contact us for further arrangement at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Do you have bouncy castles/inflatables?
Unfortunately, we do not offer party inflatables at this time. However, we are working on securing a grant to purchase them. Stay tuned!
Where does my money go?
Party Place is a social enterprise supporting the first-time employment of youth. All profit will directly support youth programs at the Club. Learn more about our youth programs and services here.
