We offer installment payments for camp.  A 25% deposit is due at the time of registration. You can pay the full balance at the time of registration or pay the balance over two payments. The billing options are listed at time of registration. The installment payment dates are also listed during registration. You may pay with either pre-authorized credit or debit.

I no longer need camp for my child. Can I get a refund?

We require 30 days written notice for any enrollment changes. There is an administration fee of $25 per change. If we do not receive 30 days notice, there is no refund.

Do you accept child care subsidy?

Yes! As a regulated child care provider, we accept the Affordable Childcare Benefit (ACCB). If you are eligible for the Affordable Childcare Benefit, you must still pay the 25% deposit. We will apply any eligible benefits to your account. Caregivers are responsible for all childcare fees, current ACCB authorization must be on file. How old does my child have to be in order to register for Summer Camp?

Interior Health Childcare Licensing requires children attending Summer Camp must be at least five-years-old and have completed kindergarten (going into Grade 1 in September) in order to register for camp. Our system is computerized and will not allow younger children to be registered for summer camp if they do not meet our minimum age.

Camp Weather Safety:

What happens to field trips with poor weather or wildfire smoke in the air?

For the safety of our staff and all summer camp participants, we have policies regarding weather and air quality.

We monitor hot weather conditions and require hats, sunscreen, and water bottles when we are outside. We also limit the time outdoors when the temperature is above 30C. If the outdoor temperature is 35C or higher, we stay indoors.

We will cancel outdoor water activities such as swimming at Brocklehurst Outdoor Pool if there is a thunderstorm in the weather forecast.

We will stay indoors if the air quality is poor due to wildfire smoke or other factors. We keep everyone inside if the air quality is at a 7 or higher. This includes not playing outdoors on the playground or going on outdoor field trips.
