Our Programs & Services

Beyond daycare.

Providing resources of all kinds

With diverse services, BGC Kamloops

offers more than 20 different programs, including 2 for daycare.

For Children

1. Children's Recreation & Development Programs (CRDP)
After school programming for children 5-12 in 4 locations throughout the city

2. Little Club Kids Childcare
Full-time childcare services for children 0-5

3. First Steps
Young parent life skills program and childcare services

4. Power Start
Before school breakfast and transportation program for children 5-12

5. Spring and Summer Break Camps
Full-day, day camps for children 5 to 12

For Youth

1. After School Drop-In
After school programming for youth 11-18

2. Learn On
After-school tutoring and mentoring program for youth 11-18

3. Youth Leadership Council
Skills-based leadership group for youth 13-18

4. Nights Alive
Safe, late-night program for youth 13-18

5. Youth Summer Drop-In
Summer programming for youth 11-18

6. Youth Life Skills and Wellness
Group and one-on-one life skills program for youth 11-24

7. Youth Outreach
Connecting youth 11-24 to the Club while in community settings

8. Youth Necessity Nook
Once per week youth 11-24 can receive non-perishable food items, personal hygiene products, and more.

9. Skilled 4 Success
A program for youth 13-18 with employment skills.

For Families

1. Family Social
A homemade meal and social activities for young families

2. Circle of Friends
Grief and loss group for children 6-12

3. Circle of Security
Parenting program for caregivers with children 2-8

4. Connect Parent
Parenting program for caregivers with children 8-12 and 13-19

Specialty

1. Bright Red Book Bus
A travelling bus that promotes literacy and reading for fun

2. School's Out
An after-school program supporting new-to-Canada children, ages 6-12, with access to safe and healthy after-school programs
