Power Start Corporate Breakfast Fundraiser

Join us for a delicious fundraiser breakfast cooked by Harold's restaurant to help feed hungry kids in our community.

What is Power Start?

Every school day at 7 AM, we pick children up from home and safely drive them to school where they receive a healthy breakfast and recess snack. Our friendly staff and volunteers help each child get ready for school so they head to class on time & ready to learn.

Where?

​Boys and Girls Club of Kamloops, John Tod Centre, 150 Wood St.​ Open-house event.​ Pop by for breakfast, learn about Power Start & head to work knowing you made a positive difference this school year.

Why?

We are the only organization in Kamloops that offers a before school breakfast program for children. In 2016, we served 12,086 free breakfasts and snacks and significantly improved classroom attendance and participation.

Cost?

$50 per ticket or $400 per 8 person table.Tickets can be purchased online or at the John Tod Centre Club. ​A charitable tax receipt will be issued minus the cost of the breakfast.

 

After the Event

Our first annual Power Start Breakfast Fundraiser was a success. We raised enough funds to serve an extra 1,161 breakfasts!
