Juice+ Canada donates Tower Garden to Boys & Girls Club of Kamloops
Dianne Desbiaux, the Boys and Girls Club’s French early childhood educator, took on the Tower Garden project to teach her French pre-school club kids the importance of nutrition and how to grow their own healthy food. “It is only logical that providing kids the opportunity to grow their own food will help set them up for a life of smart food choices and I am so proud to be a part of this amazing opportunity,” said Jennifer Strange of Juice+. New Afton Mine donates $8,480.50 to the Club!
The generous employees of New Afton Mine picked two charities to benefit from funds raised at their holiday party in December, and Boys & Girls Club of Kamloops was one of the selected recipients! New Gold Inc.'s Management and Community Relations Coordinator, Samuel Numsen, came to the Club today to present us with a very generous donation of $8,480.50! Thank you from everyone at the Club!

2nd Annual Power Start Breakfast
Our 2nd Power Start Corporate Breakfast in November was a big success! Thank you so much to everyone who joined us for breakfast this morning. With your support, we are able to help 100+ kids who need us most get to school on time with full bellies!

$1,125 Donation - Thank You To Elks Lodge No. 44!
Thank you to Elk's Lodge No.44 for donating to our Power Start Program! Power Start is a free community program. Children who take part in this program may be experiencing challenges with food sustainability or getting to school on time. Our friendly and caring staff & volunteers pick children up from their homes on school day mornings and safely drive them to school. Once at school, children are fed a nutritious breakfast and receive help with preparing for the school day. W
